Annual Love Feast
at St. Elizabeth's

We are invited to come and have dinner with the people of St. Elizabeth's. This is the week of their yearly Thursday Love Feast or "Agape" (AH-gah-pay). You can bring food to share: hummus, salad, pita, olives, dried fruit, cheese, or just come and partake. This will be instead of our weekly meeting. We have the option to stay for their service of foot washing, communion, and stripping of the altar which is part of their Holy Week observance.

Ending with a Metta Chant  We decided to end our meeting from time to time with a Metta Chant that Bowman and Sherre have taught us. Come and experience it! Here are the words:

May (I/you/we) be filled with lovingkindness
May (I/you/we) be well
May (I/you/we) be peaceful, and at ease
May (I/you/we) be happy.
